Those that work or perform services outdoors or in dirty environments or venues require a means to protect their equipment.  This protection tends to be an afterthought and then a less than ideal and unprofessional means is used and fingers are crossed that the method implemented works.

 

Equipment used for audio – multiple XLR Cables… video signal runs like converters, repeaters/ boosters, and splitters are expensive and in most cases, several are used at one event.  As with most equipment of this nature, a “elements” barrier is needed when used outdoors and in a lot of cases indoors where fine debris can easily seep into little crevices of the device rendering it inoperable.

 

Until now, many resort to less than professional means to “cover” these items with some kind of plastic bag and the ever popular duct tape!  As is commonly known, many of these devices are directional and mistakenly set up improperly which is easy to solve if you have THE JUNCTION SLEEVE… no more cutting away the duct tape to unravel whatever method or material was used to provide protection.  This is a major cost effective (no more damage to the equipment cutting away material) and time saving piece of equipment everyone should have in their line up!
